My HR session...

Time: 8:30 pm.

Venue: Chaitanya Engineering College, Visakhapatnam.

Company: Virtusa.

Volunteer: “Pavana Sree Ram Murthy Kolluru”

(I was astonished listening to my name since I was in a notion that I was the last one . I entered the room. There were two HRs .One was sitting and the other was standing.)

HR1 was looking at me as if I was an alien and shouted at me “There is something wrong with you man.There is something wrong in the way you tucked in your shirt”.

HR2: What is your hip size?

I:(feeling really tensed and ashamed but with the same expression) 28 sir.

HR1: Please be seated man.

HR2:(checking my percentage)Oh! Why is this decline in percentage from 95 in intermediate to 73 in B tech.

I: Actually sir,in intermediate I have completely concentrated on my education where as in B Tech I have realised that communication skills are more important and accordingly I have chanelised my efforts.

HR 1:(checked my writing skills paper in which I have written strengths, weaknesses and a story)

Oh shit! Is this a story.what kind of story is this!!

I: It is the story of King Dasaradha sir.

HR2 : What is the moral of the story?

I : One should not react to a situation without knowing the fact sir.

HR2: Is this resume written by you?

I:yes sir.

HR1 :(seeing that I have used some new words in my story) What is the meaning of the word “Belligerent”

I:I know the word sir,but it is not striking right now.I think it is “hard working”

HR1:Congratulations!!! you are absolutely “wrong...”

HR1 :(skimming through my resume)So, you are interested in writing poetry in english.Who is the best poet in the world?

I: Sri Rabindranath Tagore sir..

HR 1: So , you are going write a poetry before me...

I:(astonished)Shall I write the one I have already written or...

HR1 :No no..you are going to write a poem on my friend (pointing at HR2)

I:Okay sir..(While I was writing poem he was staring at my story and suddenly started scribbling my story inorder to see my expression.I just reacted with a little smile and continued writing poem)

HR1: Okay..its enough..read it out...

I: “you are calm and still

           but have much skill

     

    your face has charm

           which makes us ....”

HR2: (clapping)

HR1: You are done man...thankyou..you may leave...

HR2: Thank you..

I:Thank you sir..
