Birth
is an incarnation of the supreme power that has some purpose to fulfil . The
best example to explain this is the life of Lord Sreerama. In Ramayana, we
nowhere find Sri Valmiki saying that Sreerama is God. Because, he knows that
everyone on this Earth is God with the same power within themselves. But, why
not everyone is living like Sreerama? It is because we don't realise or at least
try to know the purpose of our birth. Sreerama has realised that his purpose is
living a life of dharma and inspire others to lead a happy life by following
his path. So, what is it that is standing as a barrier to realise the purpose
of life?
Let us discuss this in much simpler
terms. Say someone has a bad habit. What is it that is needed to give up that
habit? A pinch of common sense and loads of effort. One without the other is
useless. Common sense is hindered by ego which is again a bad habit. And effort
is stopped by attraction. The same happens with life. We take birth and we get
attracted towards the material world which gives us ephemeral pleasure (bad
habit). We don't allow the common sense to make sense (due to ego). Ego that
fills pride in ourselves. So, the solution here is to work on ego ( this again
demands an effort by a Sadguru). First, let us all surrender to that common
sense (which we often called the eternal knowledge) and it starts acquiring us.
Once we start living with the knowledge, we see the world with a completely
different perspective. We need to experience the common sense and start
exploring the purpose of our birth.
